Man arrested for pawning stolen items in Fruitland

On September 27, troopers from the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barracks say they responded to reports of a burglary.

According to the report, around 10AM, troopers went to the 30000 block of Rehobeth Road in Pocomoke for the report of a burglary. Officials say investigation found out that an unknown suspect broke into a locked garage and stole about $2700 dollars worth of tools.

On September 28, investigators report they found out that Robert White 3rd, 23, had pawned the victim’s tools at Crazy Louie’s Fruitland on September 26.

White apparently got $100 dollars for the stolen tools, and an arrest warrant was served on him on Monday. 

White was charged with 2nd degree burglary, theft $1,000 to $10,000 and MDOP before he was taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office and released on an unsecured bond.

According to officials, White had also pawned several women’s rings which included a 1991 Woodridge Business Institute Class Ring with the initials B.A. on the side. The stone is described as burgundy colored with an oval shape.
