Lake breaks thru for first win of year on homecoming

The Lake Forest Spartans got their first win of the season on homecoming afternoon, defeating Seaford 58-6 on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans would get off to a quick start in this one, taking a 12-0 lead after one quarter, and following that up with a 30-point performance in the second quarter. Elle Harden, Desaun Bizzel, Nick Lane, Diante Cannon, and Cameron Lewis all had touchdowns in the first half to make it a 42-0 lead before halftime festivities took the field.

Both teams are back in action on Friday, when Lake visits Indian River, while Seaford hosts Red Lion.
