Hartly man arrested for Royal Farms armed robbery

Delaware State Police say they have arrested a Hartly man in connection to an armed robbery of a Royal Farms in Sunday.
23-year-old Kenneth Wasser was arrested Sunday night after he turned himself in to the Smyrna Police Department on an unrelated theft of a motor vehicle warrant. Delaware State Police say they were searching for Wasser after he was identified as the suspect in the armed robbery of the store on Halltown Road in Hartly earlier that same day.
Wasser, was reportedly armed with a knife, when he approached the cashier and demanded money. The employee reportedly complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. He then reportedly fled the seen in a dark color car.
Wasser has been charged with a slew of charges including robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy. He is being held on a $50,000 secured bail.
