Harrington PD searching for girl wanted for attempted vehicular homicide

The Harrington Police Department says it is looking for an 18-year-old girl in connection to an attempted vehicular homicide.
According to the report, the wanted subject is Caris Johnson-Russ, 18, whose last known address was in Milford.
Officials say the charges stem from an incident that happened on October 6 at a home in the first block of Short Street in Harrington. During the incident, police found out that Johnson-Russ and the victim were involved in a verbal argument on Short Street, during which, Johnson-Russ tried to run over the victim with a car.
The car apparently did not hit the victim, but did hit a curb and ran into the front of a home on Short Street causing damage to the home.
The Harrington Police Department currently has a warrant on file charging Johnson-Russ with attempted vehicular homicide second degree.
Anyone with information on Johnson-Russ’ location is asked to contact the Harrington Police Department at 302-398-4493 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
