Hall’s OT Game Winner Lifts Snow Hill Girls Soccer To Win At Bennett

The Snow Hill girls soccer team picked up a huge conference road win Tuesday when they defeated Bennett 2-1 in overtime off a game winning goal from Kelsey Hall. The win improves the Eagles to 7-2, while the loss drops the Clippers to 3-3-1.

The Eagles would take the lead just over 20 minutes into the match when Anna Adams would track down a deep through ball, and beat the keeper far post for the score. Snow Hill would generate several more shots on goal the rest of the half, but Amelia Hall would come up with several great saves. The Clippers came out of the halftime break with a new focus, and became the aggressors. After getting a couple shots on goal, they finally would find the equalizer after Michelle Lee would put a strike on one, and finish hear post. The teams would head to overtime, where with just over a minute left the Eagles would draw a corner. The ball would be sent into the box where Hall would be able to send it home for the game winner.

Snow Hill returns to action on Thursday when they host Easton, while Bennett travels to Wi-Hi on Thursday.
