Greene’s Big Day Powers Kent County Past Arcadia

The Kent County football team picked up a nice non-conference win Friday night when they traveled to Arcadia and rolled to a 48-13 win. The Trojans improve to 5-4 on the year with the win.
Marcquan Greene stepped off the bus and was on a mission. He would rush up and down the field, helping the Trojans to a 35-0 lead at the half. The offense didn’t slow any in the second half as Greene would break another long run for a score. Once the run game was working, Kent County was able to throw the ball as well. Peyton Taylor would find Devin Thompson from midfield for a long touchdown pass as the rout was on. The Firebirds would work to stay in the game and get a couple scores late including a short touchdown run from Contrell Brown. But the Trojans defense would be able to close the game for the win.
Kent County returns to action on Friday when they travel to Fallston.
