Greene 5 TD’s Power Kent County Past Snow Hill

Marcquan Greene had his finger prints all over the game Thursday night when Kent County welcomed Snow Hill into town, finishing with 5 total touchdowns as Kent rolled to a 40-6 win. The win improves the Trojans to 4-4, while the loss drops the Eagles to 0-8.

The Trojans would go straight to work as on one of their first drives, Greene would call his own number and take it in for a rushing touchdown off the right side. On their very next drive, he would show that he could throw the ball as well, as he would find Deshawn Lister from about 30 yards out to double their lead. After the Eagles would be forced to punt, Greene would go back to the ground, taking one in from midfield, before adding another off a pass to Takai Caulk. Then Tre Wright would break a long touchdown run of his own as the rout was on. The Eagles never gave in though, as DJ Thornton would take a snap, get to the edge and cut it up field before going 50 yards to the house for the score. The night belonged to Greene though as he would take another run in from midfield before the half was done. The Trojans defense would do the rest in the second half as they rolled to the win.

Kent County returns to action on Friday when they travel to Arcadia, while Snow Hill travels to Cambridge SD on Friday.
