DSP state they are investigating a robbery of a Rehoboth Beach Leather store

Delaware State Police state they are currently investigating the robbery of a Leather store in Rehoboth Beach.
According to DSP, the robbery occurred at approximately 8:41 p.m. on Saturday October 2, 2016.
DSP state the suspect entered Leather Central located at 36983 Rehoboth Avenue Extended. DSP say the suspect approached a male clerk who was standing behind the counter and demanded cash. According to police, the clerk complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect then exited the store and fled in an unknown direction. We are told there were no injuries.
Police say they are looking for a suspect, who was described as a black male, 5’08” tall, 160lbs., wearing dark colored clothing and white sneakers armed with an unknown type handgun.
There are no video surveillance or photos available to be released at this time.
