Dover Police investigating burglary of Capriotti’s

The Dover Police Department says it is investigating a burglary that happened on Tuesday night.

Officials were called to Capriotti’s on Independence Boulevard in response to a burglary that happened around 11:50PM.

According to the report, three men, wearing dark clothing, used a rock to break the front glass door. The suspects then apparently stole the cash register and ran from the area.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130, and callers may remain anonymous.
