Delmar man arrested after alleged assault

David Craig Robinson Jr., 26, of Delmar

A deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Tuesday after they responded to a 911 call.

According to the report, the call was placed around 3AM and the deputy went to a home in the 8000 block of Mar-Lyn Drive in Delmar.

When they arrived, the deputy reported they met with a woman at the home who had obvious signs of injury to her face. In the investigation that followed, the deputy found out that these injuries were allegedly inflicted by the woman’s boyfriend, David Robinson, 26, of Delmar, during an argument.

Robinson was placed under arrest and taken to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner.

Following an initial appearance where he was charged with assault second degree, the Commissioner detained Robinson in the Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond.
