Crockett Leads Kent County Field Hockey Past Parkside

The Kent County field hockey team earned a nice road win Tuesday afternoon when they traveled to Parkside and pulled out a 2-1 win. The win improves the Trojans to 4-1, while the loss drops the Rams to 2-3-1.
The Trojans would take the lead just over 9 minutes into the match after Maddie Taylor would send a cross into the box and Abby Crockett would be able to fire it to the far post for the score. The Rams would be able to come right back to tie the match before half after a rebound would come out to Abby Roskovich, and she would place it near post and into the back of the cage. The defense would lock down the remainder of the half as neither team would be able to score. The Trojans would then get the score they needed in the second half after Crockett would drive all the way in, fire one to the far post for the go-ahead score.
Kent County returns to work on Thursday when they travel to Kent Island while Parkside travels to Crisfield on Thursday.
