Colonel Richardson Continue Playoff Push With Win At Washington

Colonel Richardson moved one step closer to making the post season Friday night after they pulled out a 20-6 win at Washington. The win improves the Colonels to 4-4, while the loss drops the Jaguars to 2-7.

The Colonels would strike first in the first quarter after Eric Joseph would rush the ball down into the redzone, before Jake Zebron would take a QB sneak in from a yard out. CR would then double their lead in the second after Joseph took a carry up the middle, shed a couple would-be tacklers and was able to take it in for six. The Jaguars worked to get back in the game as Trevelle Jones was able to break a couple nice plays for big gains. The Colonels would ice the game though with a 58 yard touchdown run from Joseph.

Colonel Richardson returns to work on Friday when they host North Caroline, while Washington travels to Parkside on Thursday.
