Central pounces Poly in Woodside

The Sussex Central Golden Knights would make quick work of host Polytech, defeating the Panthers 49-14 on Friday night.
Central running back Kendrique Nocks got the night off to a fast start for the Golden Knights, taking the second play from scimmage 60 yards on a sweep for a touchdown. Tim Jones would follow that run up, with a score of his own from 12 yards out, giving Central a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Jones would have two more scores as Central also got scores from Drew Morris and Issac Barnes in the win. Darrell DeMoe had an interception for Polytech in the loss.
Both teams are back in action on Friday as Central hosts Dover, while Poly takes the short trip to battle CR.
