Boys Bracket 3 – Governors Challenge

Snow Hill: The Eagles return a host of talent including Ameer Fisher, Almonty Allen, DJ Thornton, and Takhi Wise to lead them. Coming off a year in which the Eagles hoped to compete for a 1A East title, they now have the experience to do so.

Archbishop Curley: The Friars enter the Governor’s Challenge for the first time under the direction of Phil Hahn. They have won two MIAA conference titles. (1996, 2001)

St. Joe’s By the Sea: Hailing from Staten Island, NY, the Vikings return for their third straight Governor’s Challenge. After winning their Gov. Challenge bracket in 2014, they lost both games in 2015.

Thomas Stone: Stone returns to the Governor’s Challenge after defeating Snow Hill by 20, and defeating Tallwood (VA) on a buzzer beater to win their bracket.
