Bennett Volleyball Earns Sweep Over Bennett

The James M. Bennett volleyball team earned a nice road conference win Wednesday night when they traveled to North Dorchester and rolled to a 3-0 sweep. The win improves the Clippers to 8-2, while the Eagles fell to 6-5.

The Clippers would take advantage of some strong play at the net early on to take a quick lead. Ashlyn Brock would come up with several kills from the front row. Once she got going, the Clippers would start to serve tough as well, earning a few key points from Briana Taylor. The Eagles quickly found themselves down two sets, but would try and fight back in the 3rd. Georgie Turner would rattle off a couple straight points with a few nice serves. But eventually Bennett would figure her out. Hannah Hoagensen would finish the match off with a beautiful ace, as the Clippers would head home with the win.

North Dorchester returns to action on Friday when they travel to Stephen Decatur, while Bennett host Wi-Hi on Thursday.
