App is looking to help parents keep an eye on teen drivers

An app called Life 360 is looking to help parents keep an eye on their teen drivers.
The app launched a service called driving analysis that helps examine driving behaviors such as cell phone usage, rapid acceleration, and hard braking. The co-founder of the app tells 47 ABC the app tracks those indicators using the phone’s sensor, and the app does not have to be open in order to track movement.
We’re also told a color coded score is given after each drive; green meaning it was a safe drive, yellow meaning there were a couple of events, and red meaning parents should talk to their teens.
Life 360 hopes that this help encourage a healthy conversation between parents and kids about what safe driving is.
