Zetina & Sterling Power Crisfield Soccer Past Wi-Hi

The Crisfield boys soccer team earned a conference win Monday afternoon over Wi-Hi 9-0 thanks to a big day from Jordan Sterling and Ozzie Zetina. The win improves the Crabbers to 2-0, while the loss drops the Indians to 0-2.
The Crabbers would waste little time before lighting up the scoreboard. A deep down the left side would be tracked down by Jordan Sterling who would then beat the keeper far post for his first score of the game. Not long after that, Ozzie Zetina would get started, scoring back to back goals to push the lead to 3-0. The Tribe would look for an answer at the other end as Fernando Galves would get off a shot from the top of the box, but Eddie Lovaton would make a tremendous diving save. Sterling would add another to give the Crabbers a 4-0 lead at the break. The offense continued to roll in the second half for Crisfield as JJ Evans would add a strike from the left side in the first couple minutes to open up the half, followed by another goal from Matt Mister. Crisfield continued to pour it on as they rolled to the win.
Crisfield returns to work on Wednesday when they travel to Stephen Decatur while Wi-Hi will host Washington on Wednesday.
