Wicomico High School JROTC honors the 15th anniversary of September 11th

of the nine eleven attacks – which falls on sunday. the honor guard marched to the flagpole at exactly eight forty six a-m, the time the first plane struck the first of the two world trade center towers that fell. wi-hi principal don brady carried a wreath to the flagpole. the wreath is decorated with red white and blue flowers — will remain on display at the flagpole until monday. principal brady said that the wreath was a way for students to reflect. we had a moment of silence in school today before school started with all of our students so everyone can think of the day. and then we do that and lay the wreath there so students coming in and out of the school can see that its there and acknowledge it as well. on monday september twelfth, north salisbury elementary will also hold an assembly for the national day of service and remembrance. they will dedicate a tree — to honor all first responders in wicomico county. and speaking of the september 11th — today the house approved a
