Wi-Hi Football Grounds Seahawks For Road Win

The Wi-Hi football team earned their 1st win of the season after they traveled to Stephen Decatur and pulled out a 30-21 win. The win improves the Indians to 1-1, while the loss drops the Seahawks to 0-2 on the year.

The Seahawks would take the early lead in the game after a short touchdown run to the left side from Ed Zonnak would take a handoff in from around 5 yards out. The Tribe would fight back though. Keeondre Coston would have a short touchdown run before Jason Patterson would drop back to pass on their following possession and find Shykiem Handy from 15 yards out. The biggest play of the game though belonged to Coston as he took a handoff deep in Wi-Hi territory, broke several tackles and went 80 yards to the house for the score. The Tribe would take the lead into halftime and never looked back.

Wi-Hi returns to work on Friday when they host Parkside, while Stephen Decatur travels to Easton on Friday.
