UPDATE: Name released in fatal Dover crash
The Delaware State Police have released the name of the driver and the status of the trooper in the hospital.
According to the report, the driver of the Chevrolet Aveo as Daniel J. Gates, 77 of Millsboro.
Officials say that the 22-year-old trooper has been released from the hospital.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing their investigation into this incident.
