UPDATE: MSP confirm Pocomoke deaths as double-murder suicide

Maryland State Police confirm the death of Marvin Wilmer Purnell, 78, and Karen E. Purnell, 53 as a homicide and the death of Marvin Desmond Purnell, 46, a suicide.
Sgt. DaVaughn Parker of Maryland State Police tells 47 ABC the autopsy report revealed Marvin Wilmer Purnell was shot twice in the facial area, once his cheek and once on his jaw.
As for Karen Purnell, the report revealed she was shot once in the back of the head, had stabbing injuries on her upper back, and had cutting injuries on the back of her neck. However, police say pathologists were not able to determine if the stabs and cuts happened before or after Karen Purnell died.
As for the death of Marvin Desmond Purnell, the autopsy report revealed he had a single gun shot wound on his neck. Police say they are still waiting on toxicology reports for Marvin Desmond Purnell.
State Police also tell 47 ABC that new information revealed Marvin Wilmer Purnell is the father of both Karen Purnell and Marvin Desmond Purnell.
