UPDATE: DSP investigates crash involving a train in Sussex Co.

Authorities in Delaware have responded to a crash involving a train in Sussex County.

According to Delaware State Police, they responded Monday afternoon. Reports say the crash happened near Doe Bridge Lane, and police have confirmed this location.

A spokesman for DSP tells 47 ABC the crash appears minor.

Officials also say that the driver of the car, a 17-year-old girl, was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

As of 3:45 on Monday afternoon, the scene was not cleared yet.

47ABC has learned that charges are pending in this case, and the train is currently still on the tracks.
