Troopers investigate serious crash in Dover

The Delaware State Police is currently investigating a serious crash on Saturday near the toll road in Dover.
Investigators say, the incident occurred just before 3:15 PM on Saturday. 55-year-old Juan Busto Iniestas, of Pennsylvania, was allegedly driving a 1995 GMC Jimmy northbound on SR 1 Dover traveling between the right EZ Pass lane and the median just south of the Main Toll Plaza. For unknown reasons the vehicle struck the guardrail end that divides the EZ Pass lanes from the cash toll lanes. After the collision troopers say a mini motorcycle stored in the trunk area of the vehicle was pinned up against the windshield.
Iniestas, was taken to the Kent General Hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
He has been was cited for driving without a valid license, failure to have insurance identification in possession, failure to have registration card in possession, and failed to remain within a single lane.
The Delaware State Police is continuing their investigation into this incident. SR 1 northbound in the area of the crash was impacted for about two hours as the crash was investigated and cleared.
