Troopers investigate fatal car crash in Felton

The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit reports it is investigating a fatal car crash that happened on Friday afternoon.

According to officials, the initial investigation has figured out that the crash happened around 4PM on Willow Grove Road, Felton.

The crash apparently involved a single car which ran into a tree, and as a result of the crash, one person has been pronounced dead.

Willow Grove Road is currently closed in the area of Mt. Olive Cemetary Road and Pony Track Road and officials ask that commuters find alternate routes of travel.

The investigation into this crash by the Delaware State Police is in its early stages, and ore information will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
