Traffic stop in Dorchester Co. leads to arrest of two

On September 16, a deputy working patrol in the East New Market area conducted a traffic stop that led to an arrest.
According to the report, the deputy was patrolling near Route 14 and Creamery Road when they stopped a car, and found out the driver was 45-year-old Kris Mark Cohee, of Denton.
The deputy says that Cohee was under the influence of alcohol, and he was taken into custody. During a search, a small amount of cocaine was found on Cohee.
He was charged with possession of cocaine, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving while impaired by alcohol. Cohee was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.
During the traffic stop, the deputy says that a passenger was in the car, and was identified as 29-year-old Daniel Joseph Mastronardi Jr. of Preston.
Mastronardi apparently became unruly and tried to interfere with the investigation and arrest.
As a result, he too was arrested and charged with obstructing and hindering a police officer, possession of cocaine, and failure to obey a lawful order. He was also released on $10,000 unsecured bond.
