Three charged following drug search warrants in Harrington

The Harrington Police Department, with the help of several other agencies, says it was able to carry out narcotics search warrants at two separate residences in Harrington.
Both were the result of a several month investigation into drug dealing in the Harrington area.
During execution of the search warrants, officers say they seized suboxone, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and over $1,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
According to the report, Dewayne Mumford, 34, of Harrington, was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance with an aggravating factor, a misdemeanor
- Possession of drug paraphernalia marijuana related, civil
He was released on $1,100 unsecured bond pending future court appearances. Mumford was also wanted out of the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for failure to pay, and for this he was given a $250 unsecured bond.
Officials say Kevin Hughes Jr. 25, was charged with:
- Forgery 1st degree, a class F Felony
- Possession of Marijuana, civil
He was released on $3,100 unsecured bond pending future court appearances.
Donald Hollingsworth, 47, of Harrington, was charged with:
- Possession of Marijuana, civil
He was issued a summons and released.
The Harrington Police Department says it was assisted in the execution of the search warrants by members of the Milford, Smyrna, Felton, Greenwood, Ocean View Police Departments, the Delaware Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement, and the Kent County Department of Public Safety Emergency Medical Services.
