The Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the 69th Annual National Hard Crab Derby and Fair during Labor Day Weekend.
With Hermine coming through, it did cancel the Crab Derby race on Saturday. But, they were able to have the event spark in on Sunday morning. The co-chair told that they had a fun-filled packed day with one event ending and the next event starting.
The winner was Angel Connor for the crab picking contest and Delaware won the Governor’s cup race.
Another major attraction on Sunday was the Boat Docking contest. Boats registered that morning and were eligible to win up to $30,000.
The festivities included multiple vendors of food and drinks as well as rides such as a super slide and ferris wheel.
The carnival ended with fireworks on Sunday night.
