Sussex Central Football Post Shutout At Laurel

The Sussex Central football team turned a very impressive performance to start the year, shutting out Laurel 35-0. The win improves the Golden Knights to 1-0, while the loss drops the Bulldogs to 0-1.

The Golden Knights would get started with back to back touchdown runs from Tim Jones. The lead would continue to grow after quarterback Brady Bower would drop back to pass, and drop a dime to Kiandre Knock to push the lead to 21-0. The Bulldogs would try and get something going as their quarterback Perez Nichols would scramble to move the chains on occasion. But the Golden Knights defense would tough all night long. Central would put the game out of reach early with another touchdown from from Jones.

Sussex Central returns to work on Friday when they host Interboro PA, while Laurel host St. Elizabeths on Friday.
