Smyrna Football Dominates In Season Debut

The Smyrna football team opened up their title defense with an impressive performance on the road, topping Delcastle 56-0. The win improves the Eagles to 1-0 on the year.

Smyrna would march down the field early on and cap off their first three drives with Leddie Brown touchdown scores. The first came off a 4 yard run, the next 2 came from passes from Nolan Henderson. After Brown got going, Will Knight would begin to find his rhythm. He would score a short touchdown run before adding another through the air. The lead quickly grew to over 50 as the Eagles rolled to the win.

Smyrna returns to work on Friday when they host Appoquinimink.
