Salisbury man arrested for domestic assault

Jesse Sterling Price, 51, of Salisbury

On Thursday night, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a home for reports of a domestic altercation.

According to the report, around 9:40PM, a deputy responded to a home on Burnt Branch Drive and met with Jesse Sterling Price, 51, of Salisbury.

The deputy learned that Price and his wife became embroiled in an argument that turned physical. The wife told the deputy that Price assaulted her and put her into what she described as a choke hold.

During the investigation, the deputy reported that they saw signs of injury that matched the wife’s account.

The deputy placed Price under arrest and took him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance where Price was charged with assault second degree, the Commissioner detained him in the Detention Center in lieu of $5,000 bond.
