Salisbury man arrested after reported domestic assault

Deputies of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office say that they arrested a man in connection with a reported domestic related assault.

Officials say on Wednesday, around 9PM, a deputy arrested Jon Hulin, 30, of Salisbury, in connection with a reported domestic related assault.

According to the report, Hulin is accused of having an argument with his girlfriend that turned physical, and according to the victim, Hulin repeatedly assaulted her and knocked her down.

During the investigation, the deputy says they saw several signs of injury that matched the victim’s account.

The victim also told the deputy that at one point during the attack, she reportedly lost consciousness.

Upon arrest, the deputy transported Hulin to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner.

Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Hulin in the Detention Center in lieu of $20,000 bond after charging him with assault second degree and reckless endangerment.
