Road open following head-on collision in Caroline Co.

Maryland State Police in Easton have confirmed one person was airlifted following a head-on crash in the Preston area Monday night.

According to police Troopers say the collision happened near the intersection of Preston Road and Hynson Road.

Details at this point regarding the names of those involved and how the crash happene dare limited.

However we do know traffic was diverted away from that intersection for a few hours to allow for investigation and clean-up.

As of 10:30 PM Monday, Troopers say the incident was cleared and the road is back open.
