Polytech Field Hockey Stays Perfect With Win Over Washington

The Polytech field hockey team stayed perfect with a 5-2 win over Washington on Saturday morning. The win improves the Panthers to 2-0, while the loss drops the Jaguars to 1-2.

The Panthers would come out on the offensive early on and Cam Davis would give them a 2-0 lead at the break. Washington would then get on the board after Brooke Collier would fire a pass into the box that Mariana Day would deflect in. Polytech would answer with scores from Shannon Stephen and Madison Knight. The Jags would get one back after Collier rifled in one off a corner, but that’s as close as they were going to get.

Washington returns to work on Monday when they travel to Kent County, while Polytech travels to Seaford on Tuesday.
