Polytech Field Hockey Bounces Back With Win Over Tech

The Polytech field hockey team bounced back from a tough loss earlier in the week to earn a 3-2 win at Sussex Tech. The win improves the Panthers to 4-1, while the Ravens drop to 0-3.
Bridget Johnson would give the Ravens the early lead as she found the back of the cage just over 3 minutes into the match. The Panthers then got going, getting back to back goals from Shae Stephan and Madilyn McKay. Tech’s Jazmyne Marino would score to tie the match at 2-2 head into halftime. With the game in the balance, Lacy Bayley would put away the go-ahead score for the Panthers. The defense would do the rest from there as they held on for the win.
The Panthers return to action on Tuesday when they host Indian River, while Sussex Tech travels to Sussex Central on Friday.
