Police say alcohol and speed were factors in fatal crash

The Sheriff’s Office in Worcester County confirms one death in a Saturday night crash along Sheephouse Road near Buck Harbor Road.
Deputies say Logan Moloy, 21, of Fruitland, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators revealed that a 2013 Toyota Camry, operated by Timothy Gingrich, 19, of Greenbackville, Va., had veered off the side of the road and collided with a tree.
According to a release, Gingrich was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, then Shock Trauma in Baltimore where he is listed in stable condition.
Police say the crash was influenced by alcohol and speed. Moloy’s body was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
