Parkside Rolls Past Snow Hill In Opener

The Parkside Rams flexed their muscle in their season opening win over Snow Hill 49-0. The win improves the Rams to 1-0, while the loss drops the Eagles to 0-1.

Parkside would get their running game started early, marching down the field for a score. The Eagles would look to answer, and would break a big run by Amonty Allen. He would have to leave the game with an injury though, and the Rams began to separate. They would take a 35-0 lead by halftime before getting another touchdown run from Nayel Oge. The Eagles would then try and answer and Takhai Wise would get a good pick up off a keeper. But the defense would clamp down from there for Parkside. The Eagles would be forced to Dustin Richardsen, who would take off and score from midfield for the final score of the game.

Parkside returns to work on Friday when they host Easton, while Snow Hill host Colonel Richardson on Friday.
