PARCC testing results released for Md. Students

Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career (“PARCC”) are in for Maryland.

Data has been released by the Maryland Department of Education and say results for math reveal modest overall gains.

The English and Language Arts test scores showed little change.

A statement from the state department of education reads quote —
47 a-b-c reached out to local school boards on the Lower Eastern Shore.
According to Dorchester County Public Schools — their results reflect this data.
We’re told they saw an overall increase of *five percent* of those who met or exceeded expectations for math.
And — a three percent increase for english and language arts.
