Ocean City Mayor talks about how they are getting back in action after Hermine in time for Labor Day

Ocean City Mayor, Richard Meehan, spoke to 47 ABC about how Hermine came in but did not cause too much damage onto the beach.

With some beach erosion along Ocean City, the biggest concern was keeping beachgoers from swimming in the water.

They are restricted those from swimming due to the wave currents and rips through the water. Meehan says that they can go at least ankle deep.

Meehan explains that about 80% percent of the travelers were still able to make it to Ocean City.

He said to prepare for Hermine, they took all the proper safety precautions needed.

Meehan says due to the weather, the city of Ocean City is getting back into action for good weather on Labor Day.
