Delaware’s branding for tourism seems to be working at least according to an international brand consulting firm.
The firm called “future brand” released the results of a study it conducted that found Delaware’s endless discoveries branding to be close to the most effective in convincing people to visit their state.
Only Idaho beat out Delaware just by a one percent margin.
According to officials with the state in 2015 Delaware launched their new broadcast branding in the D.C. and New York markets. They say they already knew their new branding had been successful, but this recent study just reaffirms those notions.
“We have seen that, you know, a strategic focus on tourism in Delaware has been paying off as far as tax revenue and in visitation to the state,” said Linda Parkowski, Delaware Tourism Director.
Parkowksi went on to say that they were extremely pleased with the findings.
