Milford Police goes pink for October

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is a campaign that comes out every year to increase awareness of the disease.

The men and women of the Milford Police Department have announced they are joining the efforts this year by going pink.

Officers say they will be wearing pink logo baseball hats throughout October, and will even have their patch altered to help support the cause.

Milford Police will also be selling the patches and hats at the Department on 400 Northeast Front Street while supplies last.  The patches can be purchased for $10 and the hats for $20.

Cash only will be accepted, and all proceeds be donated to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
