Lions Volleyball Downs Indians 3-0

The Queen Anne’s Lions bested the Wicomico High School Indians 3-0. 

The Lions got off to a solid start taking the first game. In the second set, Alexis Phillips tipped it over for Wihi, and Haley Stallings made a diving attempt but couldn’t get to it.Stallings set up Rebecca Clay for a spike, and the Indians couldn’t answer. Kailey Boomer found a hole and the Indians let it go, allowing a point for the Lions. For match point, Briana Branch of Wihi set up Sherriah Miles, who couldn’t get it over the net. 

The Indians host Parkside on September 12th while the Lions hit the road to face Kent County on September 15th.
