Indian River School District partners with Stand By Me for a free financial aid workshop

The Indian River School District has partnered with Stand By Me to offer a free financial aid workshop for students and their families.

Stand By Me is a non-profit organization that helps families navigate financial processes.

They offer free workshops with valuable information to help with financial empowerment.

The next workshop will be September 22nd, 2016, which will focus on finding ways to send students to college by focusing on grants, scholarships, or loans to help pay college tuition.

There are no requirements to attend these workshops and they have locations all over Delaware for one-on-one sessions.

After the September workshop, there will be another one towards the end of October, which is a scholarship workshop and fair.
