Indian River School District partners with Stand By Me for a

partnered with stand by me to offer a free financial aid workshop for students and their families. stand by me is a non-profit organization that helps families navigate financial processes. they offer free workshops with valuable information to help with financial empowerment. the next workshop will be september twenty-second — and will focus on finding ways to send students to college by focusing on grants, scholarships, or loans to help pay tuition. there are no requirements to attend these workshops –and they have locations all over delaware for one on one sessions. when it comes to college planning it is never to early to start that. we encourage all high school student families to attend this event. butt sot attending a work shop like this will help you navigate that system and make it not so overwhelming and really have the student understand, if you want to go to college, that opportunity is there for you and we are here to help support that. after the september workshop – there will be another one toward the end of october – which will serve as both a scholarship workshop and fair for more information or to register for these events — head over to our website. coming up – racial controversy
