Indian River Football Stumbles In Season Opener

The Indian River football team didn’t get their season off the start they had hoped for as they fell at home to Linganore 61-0. The loss drops the Indians to 0-1 on the year.

The Lancers came out fired up and would quickly build a massive lead in the first half, moving the ball through the air as well as on the ground. IR would try and move the ball with their duo of Gerald Foreman and George Martin, but would have little success. Linganore would continue to fire the ball down the field and would ride their defense to the win.

Indian River returns to work on Friday when they travel to Sussex Tech.
