Indian River Boys Soccer Coast Past Milford

The Indian River boys soccer team picked up another nice win Thursday afternoon when they defeats Milford 5-1 on the road. The win improves the Indians to 3-0, while the loss drops the Buccaneers to 2-3.
The Indians would find their scoring opportunities early and often. Patrick Mochiam would break the ice off a penalty kick just over a minute and a half into the game. Johan de jeses Cordoba would then add another strike less than 30 seconds later. Oscar Cruz and McClain Smith would both add goals before the half was done as the Indians would take a 4-0 lead into halftime. Matthew Mitzel would finally get the Bucs on the board, but it was too little, too late as IR would close it out for the win.
Indian River returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Cape Henlopen, while Milford travels to Dover on Tuesday.
