H.S. Football Preview: Laurel Bulldogs

The Laurel Bulldogs have seen a full range of emotions over the past two seasons. From playing for a state championship, to putting to a 3-7 season, seeing the release of head coach Glenn Phillips. Former Woodbridge assistant and Bulldog Alum Eston Ennis takes the reigns this season.

Three seniors are expected to play a huge role on offense, running back’s Deon Parker and Trevon Dixon, will share the backfield with one of the most explosive quarterbacks in the Henlopen South in Perez Nichols. If the offense can sustain drives and the defense can keep the numbers down, watch out for the ‘Dawgs this season.

Laurel begins their season at home on Friday, September 9th, hosting Sussex Central.
