Gulls open CAC play with shutout win

The Salisbury men’s soccer team opened up Capital Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 win over Southern Virginia on Saturday afternoon.

Brooks Zentgraf and Dolph Hegewisch scored goals in the game, with the third coming as an own goal by the Knights. Gulls keeper Daniel Brennan came up with 5 saves in the shutout win.

Salisbury is back in action on Wednesday, when they travel to take on Catholic.
