Firefighters on scene to serious fire in Cambridge

Emergency officials are currently responding to a serious fire in Cambridge.

According to the Rescue Fire Company in Cambridge, the third alarm fire occurred on a home on Locust Street around 2 AM on Tuesday. Last report from fire officials is entrapment was confirmed. Messages from the Rescue Fire Company’s Facebook page indicated that person did not make it out alive. At this time that has not been confirmed from authorities.

Officials are asking folks to avoid the area, as crews will be on scene for an extended period of time. This may impact morning commutes.
