Easton woman arrested for armed robbery

On Monday, members of the Easton Police Department were able to arrest a woman involved in an armed robbery.
According to the report, on Saturday around 3:25AM, officers responded to South Higgins Street in Easton in reference to a robbery.
When they arrived, officers say they met with the victim who told them that he was robbed by a man and woman.
After continuing to interview the victim, officers were told that the man demanded money from the victim, and when he refused, the man grabbed the victim’s neck and began to hit him. Apparently the woman was then able to take the victim’s wallet and money.
Officials were able to find out that Nicole Whitefield, 22, of Easton, was the woman involved, and she was arrested on Monday. Whitefield was charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft less than $1000, reckless endangerment, and conspiracy charges. She was taken before a Talbot County District Court Commissioner where she was held without bond.
