Easton PD responds to personal injury crash

Officers of the Easton Police Department say they responded to a personal injury crash on Tuesday.
According to the report, officers were called to the area of the entrance of Ledo’s, in Easton, and when they arrived, they saw two vehicles that had been involved in a crash.
Officers say that Adam Noble Dewitt, 34, of McDaniel, was driving eastbound on Marlboro Avenue on a 2005 Suzuki GSX750, when Hunter Kody Nordberg, 20, of Easton, was driving a 2000 Acura Integra westbound on the same road.
Nordberg apparently tried to make a left turn into the Ledo’s parking lot and pulled into the path of the motorcycle, causing the vehicles to hit and the motorcycle driver to be thrown off.
Officials say Dewitt was then flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma unit due to injuries from the crash, and Nordberg was reportedly not injured.
The Easton Police Department was helped by the Easton volunteer Fire Department, Talbot County Emergency Services, and the Maryland State Police.
Anyone that witnessed the crash is asked to call Pfc. Howard Maxwell of the Easton Police Departmemt at 410-822-1111.
